Since my main range of products at the moment are guest books, it makes sense to write something about them.
Quotes are very easy space fillers. Find or memorize a quote that is relevant to the occasion, either funny or inspirational. Quotes from a beautiful piece of poetry, quotes from influential people or even the song lyrics to an appropriate song. Having some of these handy, shows that you have put some serious thought into your message.
Words of Advice
Sincere words of advice are popular guest book entries. It can be tips on how to make a great marriage work from your own experience, or date night recommendations to the bride or groom, or it can be words of wisdom on how to survive life after turning 21.
Thoughts of Your Experience of the Day
Let the couple or the guest of honor know your thoughts of how the day went. Recall a significant moment from the day and how you enjoyed the event. Write something that will help remind them of the occasion, afterwards.
If you have fond memories of the guest of honor, use the guest book to reflect on these times. Of course, choose memories that do not offend the guest of honor, and give examples of these memories and how it has lead you to be writing in the guest book.
Prayers and Well Wishes
The usual guest book messages that people leave are the well wishes and prayers for the guest of honor. You can write your sincere well wishes and congratulatory tidings, whether it be a couple of sentences or a few paragraphs. I suggest that if you choose this type of message and are very close to the honoree, to spend a little time writing a thoughtful message.
